ImSoHaitian 1804 was built to honor heritage through the powerful art of fashion.

Inspired by the significance of 1804, the birth of the first Black republic, our brand represents power, freedom, identity, and legacy. Haiti’s revolution was not only a defining moment in Black history, but a moment that changed world history forever. Through thoughtful design and intentional storytelling, we strive to carry that spirit forward.

“Nou La,” meaning “We are here” in Haitian Creole, is more than a phrase to us. It is presence. It is pride. It is a reminder that history lives on through the people who continue to represent it with strength, creativity, and purpose.

At ImSoHaitian 1804, every piece is created from scratch with intention. In a world filled with mass-produced fashion, we take a slower and more deliberate approach — carefully selecting fabrics, developing custom designs, and focusing on the details that make each garment feel premium, timeless, and one of a kind.  We do not believe in shortcuts.
